The Institute of Psychology was established in the University on December 1, 2023. Starting from the 2024-25 academic year, it will implement bachelor's and master's degree educational programs for training personnel in the field of psychological and psychological-pedagogical sciences. The department of psychological service is also a part of the Institute.

The Institute of Psychology will implement the following areas of training:

"Psychological and pedagogical education"

Bachelor's degree – 03.44.02 "Engineering pedagogy"
Master's degree – 04.04.02 "Planning and psychological and pedagogical support of digital educational ecosystems"

"Psychology"

Bachelor's degree – 03.37.01 "Organizational psychology"
Master's degree – 04.37.01 "Psychology of personnel management (profiling)"

The Institute's research will be carried out on the basis of the scientific research laboratory of experimental psychology created within it.

Experimental research is planned to be conducted in the field of psychology and pedagogy, as well as research work with student participation, developing new psychological and pedagogical technologies, software and hardware in psychological and pedagogical research areas and educational practices together with the other Institutes of MIET. The Institute also plans to work with public funds and programs.

The MIET's psychological service will be expanded by creating psychological student consultations within the Institute of Psychology. Students' educational and work practice will be organized there. For this purpose, mentoring systems and psychological supervision for students are being developed.
